Perfect for family

4 of 5
This is everything Dave says it is! Quiet, cozy, family oriented cabins are well appointed & each has a privacy screen to make you feel separate, yet part of it all, too. A quick walk to town, boat parking & bike path. We were made to feel very welcome as we celebrated our 50th anniversary with family. THANK YOU DAVE!

Amazing Island Property

5 of 5
My friends and I rented this property for a reunion the weekend before Memorial Day and I have to say that we had an amazing time. The house itself is beautiful, new, spacious, and comfortable, while the property is even more so. The owner was a pleasure to work with and he answered all of our questions and concerns completely. Because the property is on an island it is naturally secluded and peaceful. Our trip across the lake to the island was short and enjoyable and the gentleman who served as our captain was polite and helpful (even when we were late arriving at the pickup!) We were on the property early in the spring (it was a cold spring) so the foliage wasn't in full bloom so we didn't see the island in its full beauty, but I can only imagine that it would be even better during peak season. I'm already planning on holding another get-together again next year and I can't wait to come back. If you love fun, relaxation, seclusion, water, and comfort then this is the place for you. The only caveat I'll mention is that if you don't have a boat then you'll be trapped on the island for the duration--certainly not a bad thing, but it is an island after all.

Perfect vacation property

5 of 5
My friend rented this home the week prior to and through Labor Day Weekend. The house was in perfect condition--clean and totally well stocked. The property was very well maintained. We had several friends come and stay for a couple of days while we were there. We had plenty of room for everyone (4 good sized bedrooms) and we all enjoyed the outdoor fire pit every night. Jerry was so friendly and helpful recommending nearby stores restaurants and activities. The boat launch is literally a stone's throw away. We (and some of our friends that visited) will be renting this home again for sure.
