Fantastic home for a White Mountains vacation!

                        5 of 5
This place is terrific. We stayed here for a week in August and used it as our "base camp" for exploring a lot of different outdoor activities in the White Mountains. The location is perfect... it's central to so much of the stuff we did. Jackson is a much smaller and quieter town and provides a much more authentic New England experience than some of the other more developed and touristy areas in the White Mountains. As for the view, there are not many superlatives I can add that other reviewers have not already added which adequately describe how incredible the views are off the deck. For all but 2 of the nights, we cooked dinner in and ate while looking out over the valley. If atmosphere is something you look for in a restaurant, it is very difficult to beat the true atmosphere you get up at 1650 feet on the deck of this mountainside home while looking out over the valley and the White Mountains. As for the home itself, it was spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable. With the combination of the comfy beds and the cool, nighttime New Hampshire mountain air, we had night after night of truly restful sleep. As other reviewers have noted, the house is stocked with everything you need. Any time we needed something for cooking, it was there. The ping-pong table was awesome! Every morning after breakfast, our boys would play for a while before we headed out for the day. The open layout of the home is terrific with the way the kitchen blends with the dining area and family room / living area... I can see how this home would be perfect for a large family for a ski getaway in the winter. The owner, Scott, was extremely helpful and very responsive to any questions we had. He gave us a lot of great advice from his own experiences in the White Mountains, which really helped make our vacation that much better. I highly recommend this home for a vacation in the White Mountains!

                        Awesome!

                        5 of 5
From the moment we walked into the house we knew we would have a fun, long weekend. The house was very clean and comfortable. Our favorite part was the grill and the firepit out back! When we weren't at the house we visited the outlet shops and the amazing waterfall down the road. Very pleased with our stay, and we hope to be back soon!

                        This Restful Cozy Chalet!

                        5 of 5
This restful cozy chalet is just the place you want to be! It is a charming place with precious views of the mountains. I visited this chalet shortly after a snowstorm and was very impressed at how well the driveway and entrance had been shoveled. It was a delight to arrive late in the evening to know that we could unpack our belongings and not have to worry about snow. Upon entering this sweet chalet we immediately noticed how toasty warm it was, as opposed to the freezing temperature outside. We were thrilled to fill the tea kettle with water and had some quietly chamomile tea in the attractive pottery mugs . We noticed how well equipped the kitchen was with everything that we would need for our four day stay. The living room and dining room has a beautiful view of the mountains. We loved the wall decorations and the design of the bedrooms. The downstairs bedroom has a bunk bed and a single bed which made for a fun time for our children. The upstairs bedroom is quiet and has a very comfortable bed, with a TV and cable should you be so inclined to watch. This place is truly a great find! With all that’s around the area it would be hard not to have a thoroughly relaxing and fun time I’ve had two stays at this chalet and I can definitely say that I will be back for more!
