Comfortable Rustic Elegance

5 of 5
This was our third stay in as many summers. We can't stop coming back. After the initial amazement on how beautiful this place is inside and out, it then feels like a comfortable vacation home that has been in your family for generations. The setting is idyllic. The lake is clean and cool enough to be refreshing but warm enough to stay in for as long as you like. The lodge is well equipped and decorated with rustic elegance. With the other cottages and the boathouse full of toys, there is a sense of community and you can make friends. But there is plenty of space and privacy as well. MB and Dave are excellent hosts. You couldn't ask for nicer people. They make sure that your stay is fun and memorable. Hoping to get back there soon.

Great summer rental

4 of 5
We had a very nice time at the cottage. The water is crystal clear and the rental was just as we expected due to accurate pictures. The linens and beds were excellent. I was very impressed to see such high quality bedding. Tom was easy to deal with and the caretakers were great at responding to a small issue immediately. My only wish was that the beach was a bit bigger. There is a dock, but it was just a little challenge for all of us to fit when we were having our camp fires. It is a very quiet and peaceful. You won't regret staying there.

Beautiful lake, lots of loon and a full moon!

5 of 5
A great place from moment one! We were greeted by David and Golden Retrievers Sushi and Mini. David made sure to introduce us to other guests, making us feel like part of the family. We were shown into our lovely and cozy cabin. Cabin was very clean and beautifully done with lots of nice touches - extra fuzzy throw blankets, raccoon and bunny slippers, a s'mores kit and monogrammed tote bag to take home! Then a tour of the complex including boat house, beach front and tiki bar. Lots of wonderful shared amenities. David and MB were often around to chat, check on our stay and offer tourism advise and directions. Mini and Sushi gave us our dog fix! The loons sang us to sleep most nights. We had multiple sightings of a mother and father loon with their chick. Highly recommend booking when a full moon is due. Paddling in the moon light is spectacular, especially when the loons are calling. Great spot for families, retirees, couples - anyone! We'd love to visit again!
