our small cozy cabin getaway

5 of 5
My husband and I stayed here for our first anniversary. We had an amazing time. Nice cozy cabin, with a beautiful fire pit inside (we took advantage of that every night!) The TV only had about 4 channels, none that interested us and no Wi-Fi. We loved that, it really made for some good old fashion talking! We took the canoe out rode around the whole lake, it was gorgeous, we had amazing weather for this time of year we were able to swim out to the swimming platform and lay out. We will for sure be back.

Cute Cottage set back from the water.

4 of 5
Overall a nice stay. Our host was very attentive. Cottage could have been prepped better, think we were the first of the season. All the window sills were full of dust and sand, so when we opened them to enjoy the lake breeze, all the dirt came flying in, There was construction in the cottage in front of us providing a daily view of trucks and sounds of construction. I would not hold that against the cottage as it was a one time event. The lake was beautiful.. we canoed every day and enjoyed sunsets every night. Water was perfect temp for swimming too. We found a "sandbar" where all the boats gathered for frisbee and ball throwing. The cottage was cozy and fit my family of 6 perfectly. Had a delightful lunch at the local winery. Supplies not too far away, local people very friendly and helpful.

A LITTLE HIDDEN GEM

5 of 5
My family and I stayed at this quaint and private cottage and cannot say enough wonderful things about it! The lake is amazingly clean and beautiful! We enjoyed swimming, fishing, kayaking and paddle boating while taking in the splendid views of the mountains and watching the loons swim nearby. We felt safe in the area while walking our dog and bike riding. The owners are equally wonderful and we felt a genuine welcome to their home. We cannot wait to return in the near future and are grateful for the opportunity to have spent time at this little hidden gem of a cottage.
