My family and I stayed at this quaint and private cottage and cannot say enough wonderful things about it! The lake is amazingly clean and beautiful! We enjoyed swimming, fishing, kayaking and paddle boating while taking in the splendid views of the mountains and watching the loons swim nearby. We felt safe in the area while walking our dog and bike riding. The owners are equally wonderful and we felt a genuine welcome to their home. We cannot wait to return in the near future and are grateful for the opportunity to have spent time at this little hidden gem of a cottage.

This was my second stay at this cabin, and I hope to be able to make this an ongoing yearly's definitely a home away from home! This is the perfect place if you're looking for a fully equipped, clean and relaxing vacation. The beach is just a few steps away, with a lake large enough to have fun with your kayak or motorboat, yet small enough to walk around (which I did every morning). You can keep your kayak or canoe on the beach all week worry-free. Sawyer Lake is so much more quiet than Lake Winnepesaukee, yet all the attractions of Laconia, Meredith and other lakeside towns are just a short drive up the road. I spent most of my days on the outside deck overlooking the lake, and just felt I was in heaven. The area is quiet, private and neighbors are very friendly. The screened indoor porch was a great place to have meals, or just relax. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a great lakeside vacation.

We found Crystal Acres on the Internet after our usual vacation place had been sold. We were really lucky to find such a nice place! This will be our 6th year at Crystal Acres and we enjoy our time there. The Villa, at Crystal Acres, on Crystal Lake, in Gilmanton, New Hampshire..A comfortable home, away from home....a cottage, nestled in, under the trees, with comfortable beds, a fireplace for those chilly nights..OR just for atmosphere, a washer/dryer which could be VERY helpful for a family with children, and a host family that's SO friendly, and accommodating. There's plenty of places to soak up the sun....either on the beautiful lawns, or on one of several docks, down at the water's edge. The water, cold and invigorating, is just a short walk, from the cottage, itself and there's a canoe and a paddle boat, for guests' enjoyment, at no extra charge. Close to the Lake Winnepesaukee area, with it's famous restaurants and quaint gift and antique shops, this home, away from home, is a MUST, for any family looking for a way to relax and enjoy a very unique and memorable vacation that takes them away from the hustle, bustle of city life.
