Great family place

5 of 5
We had a great time staying at this farmhouse. Plenty of room for 2 grandparents, 2 adult sons and 3 granddaughters. It's a big house, so was a little drafty, but a sweater or sweatshirt took care of the chill. The house had everything we needed for cooking and bedding. A mixed blessing was the lack of cable/wi-fi as we couldn't watch what was happening with the blizzard back home, but the family gametime that resulted was well worth it. King Pine ski area and attractions were less than 10 minutes away. Barbara, the owner, was fantastic to work with and the location is absolutely beautiful.

Great Family Rental!

5 of 5
We have rented this property for several years now and will continue. This rental has everything you could want in one place. It's clean and maintained very well. We have never had a problem with the owners in matter of fact they go out of there way to make sure everything is ok for you!! I so recommend this property to any one that wants to be right on the water, has a big beach with play area for kids, a little private beach with a dock,a large yard area and fire pit, 2 large family rooms and plenty of sleeping. Having 2 refrigerators is so nice to stock up so you don't have to leave and can enjoy every min there. It's very close to a variety store, and you have great access to the lake for boating and water sports. The people around you are very friendly. It also is not that far from North Conway if you want to do day trips! If you are looking for a great vacation on a great lake and this rental that has it all --this is the place.. We love it there!!!!! It's everything they say it is and more!!

Relaxing mini-moon

5 of 5
My husband and I chose to take a "mini-moon" to simply relax and catch up on much needed rest after stressful wedding planning. This cottage was absolutely what we needed. It's family built and run for generations and you can feel the love. It's simple and small, but it is perfect. Everything you need is there and is well maintained and clean. We spent our days laying out on the dock or row boating and our nights sitting on the porch playing dominoes. We chose to grill (which is included with the house) most of our meals and eat on the deck. But there is a fully functional kitchen with all the appliances and utensils you can need. The beds are comfy and there is a nice new couch to lay on too. And, if you must, there is a TV. But I highly recommend not turning it on. I will never forget the amazing sunsets and moon risings every night and listening to the lake wildlife. I can not recommend this place highly enough. We fell in love with Lake Ossipee and with this house.
