NICE AND PEACEFUL

5 of 5
We stayed 6 days in this lovely cottage. If you like solitude and wonderful views, we highly recommand this place. Heidi, the owner, was nice from the first contact my mail to the last one when we went away. We had pleasure in snowshoing on the pond and all around, to take the road 3 until Canadian border, (following the Connecticut lakes), and so on... The must : we met a lot of deers, very closed to us. No moose so we have to come back ...

Exceeded Our Expectations!

5 of 5
My family and I stayed at the cabin for the week of New Years. Before arriving we were already impressed in the timely manner in which Tom, the cabin owner responded and gave us all of the information that we needed. We over-prepared for the cabin unaware that we would arrive to a full kitchen and amenities. Our family stayed a whole week with our dogs (even with the 6 of us we had plenty of room) and each day was a new adventure. The view each morning overlooking the mountains was breath-taking and the place itself was in perfect, clean and pristine condition and even decorated for the holidays. The pictures make the cabin rooms look a lot smaller than they are so we were pleasantly surprised by the space which allowed us to kick back and relax. During our stay Tom was efficient in answering our questions and we felt at home. We arrived to a book full of local information and helpful tips. We explored the grounds and made use of the snow -going an hour away to cross-country ski and snowmobile. We had a blast and could not have asked for a more comfy space to come back to at the end of our longs days and on the days where we preferred to stay by the fire. We made full use of the game room with a family tournament of darts, fooseball and pool. It was such a relief to find a place to vacation home that included everything we needed all with great views. We would highly recommend this cabin to others and are looking forward to coming again soon!

Outstanding Location, Property and Hosts!

5 of 5
Where to start... the hosts were EXCELLENT and answered all of our questions and needs quickly.. they even had several binders of information on the home and local area waiting for us when we arrived.. notes on the home (sat/tv, fireplace, etc.) were all around to keep the questions to a minimum.. this was great to review once we got there.. the house was immaculate and everything was depicted as shown in the pictures.. but the pictures do not do it justice.. the home boasted a huge amount of space for the eight adults in our party to spread out in.. but it could support more.. well stocked with all the items we needed so we only had to bring food.. board games, movies, sat/TV, and wired internet connection were all available.. the fireplace was great to relax by in the evening.. a fun fire pit to hang out around.. a huge kitchen, table area and new gas grill to help get meals out.. a great dock to fish by (or dock your own boat) and the fishing was good.. or watch the sunset.. plenty of space in the back and front yard.. nice screen porch.. very quiet in the evenings.. a good necessity store close by (LL Cote, a must stop in the north country) if something was forgotten.. Grafton Notch State Park nearby for extremely novice walks to pretty sites.. if you are looking for a summer/fall spot by the lake in the wilds of the north country.. I couldn't recommend higher.. we will be coming back!!
