                Nostalgic New Hampshire Summer Home

                5 of 5
This is a special place. The grounds are beautiful, spacious, private with many activities. The house is spotless, has everything you could need and plenty of space. I picked apples from the tree and made an apple pie. There are also large blueberry bushes on the property. The owner and caretaker were great and very accommodating. The swim hole was refreshing and fun with seating and and fire pit. There are so many great spots to sit, relax, read, eat on the property and in the house. We went to the areal obstacle course at Mt Sunapee where they also have zip lines and putt putt and there are two towns each about 20 minutes away with nice restaurants and shops. The owners also have a dock on the lake with a canoe and row boat. This place is great for families with children, those who want to get away from it all or a group of friends looking to catch up.

                Cozy Cottage on Quiet Lake

                4 of 5
My husband and I (and small, french bulldog) very much enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and nicely updated. We enjoyed having a fire in the outdoor firepit, barbeques on the grill, and kayaking on the lake. Taking a swim from the dock was very refreshing on hot afternoons. My only suggestion, would be to have a newer kayak(s) right at the cottage for use anytime. The one at the cottage was older ( new ones next door, available during the week). Our stay was exactly what we were hoping for though. Very relaxing and peaceful. I would recommend this cottage to friends and relatives.

                Great Family Get Away

                5 of 5
Our family of 10 (including 4 young grandchildren) enjoyed a fabulous 2 weeks. The house is charming - clean, well maintained, cozy yet spacious. I loved the owner's extensive toy train and oil lamp collections! We especially appreciated the recently renovated kitchen, complete with every appliance and amenity one could hope for. There is a large eating area both inside and out and the outdoor fire pit hosted several evenings of "S'mores" for the grandchildren. The family enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat and fishing from the dock. One afternoon was spend at near by Lake Sunapee where we took a boat excursion around the lake. In addition Newport (20 minutes away) is a small, quiet yet charming New England town with cute shops and a great farmer's market on Friday afternoons! Casey, the owner, was most obliging and helpful. This is a great spot if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax and enjoy the lake and fabulous views of New Hampshire!
