Cozy, Clean, Comfortable

5 of 5
As others have said, the location, right on the slopes, is ideal! The Spring skiing was excellent, and the house was spotless. We loved being able to bring our dogs, too. When we arrived, we had a couple of questions for the owner, who was instantly responsive, helpful, and pleasant. Thanks for a great vacation!

Perfect vacation home!

5 of 5
My family spent four days skiing Bretton Woods. We were so happy with the accommodations - everything was perfect. We had everything we needed right there. Ski in ski out access was very convenient...no driving to the slopes necessary. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Location, Very comfortable lodgings

I would give this a five star rating except that the listing description clearly promises use of a sports club: "Free use of sports club with swimming, racketball, tennis, etc." and there is currently no sports club available. I hope this will get worked out by next summer but be aware when you book that you are not getting the use of a sports club. There is a tennis court very close to the unit, but there is no inside swimming pool or racketball facility. We had told the children that we would have these amenities so it was disappointing when we arrived to find out that the sports club has been closed for renovations since February! Other than that, we found the facilities comfortable and the location convenient to many outdoor activities. Mt. Washington Hotel is a must-see, and if you like golf, you can use their golf facilities for a fee. They will not allow you to pay to use their pool however. A short drive takes you up to Crawford Notch State Park and the Willey House Museum with a small pond for children to fish in and a gorgeous place for a picnic. We also enjoyed hiking to Zealand Falls-- a little rocky but worth it when you arrive at the Appalachian Trail hut and waterfall at the top.
