Kids and adults had a great time

5 of 5
Kids had a great time. We are going to make this an annual event for the family. Location was great, views were breathtaking and the home charming. Very clean upstairs and downstairs. Very well maintained property and I particularly enjoyed the little blue Lazy-Boy in the upstairs living room. Openness of the place was very special. Felt like we were outside with the big windows. Temps outside were -16 F but place was warmer than the thermostat setting and the home weather tight with no drafts or cold areas. The plow person was very helpful with extra sand in the driveway as well as in the Home Depot container and metal "Campbell's" soup can. Kids had a great time. They loved the TEAM USA banner in the downstairs family room. Everyone slept great! Loved the bunk room. We like strong coffee. Coffee maker was a new high end Cuisinart that prepared our Pete's coffee grounds to perfection. Microwave worked fine for us. We watched our recorded Super Bowl XLlX NE Patriots on both flat screen TVs and relived the moment of Butler ensuring Seattle's defeat while it was snowing outside. The outside lights/floodlights took a while to heat up because it was so cold outside. We were told to leave them on instead of switching them on and off due to the special "energy saving" feature. Owner arranged to have a broken light switch replaced in the master bedroom - someone must have smashed into it with their laptop case. WIFI was fast and the Dish TV programming was pretty good. It was very helpful to have you pay someone to personally meet us and provide the keys to the place on arrival. Thanks so much, A family of legal eagles

Outstanding stay at Bear Crossing

5 of 5
The property is very nice and cozy. There are three bedrooms and two very nice bathrooms including one large bathtub. There are two living areas, both furnished with comfortable couches. The fireplace is very nice, and the TV/Netflix setup as well as wifi worked well and were easy to use. The kitchen is great too! Overall, it was a really lovely stay. Our only small disappointment was the beds which were completely functional but not the very most comfortable, but perhaps this is something the owners will improve. I highly recommend Bear Crossing for your next stay in Bethlehem, NH.

How to "Find Yourself"

5 of 5
We stayed here at a time where a break from life was needed. To say we found it here would be an understatement. It fit exactly what we needed. The town is really charming and inviting. Littleton is very close by for more urban like needs. (We chose to go there only for a needed Hospital visit.) The proximity to some of the most beautiful areas of the White Mountains was also a weight for our choice. The Jacuzzi tub was so welcomed. The gas fireplace had us reading in front of it for HOURS!!!! The ride home was filled with desire to NOT return. Alas we did and we are planning on returning again without question. Jim was as easy to deal with, friendly and helpful as we could have wished. All in all the end result was a wish I could own the property myself and call this place "HOME". Thanks Jim for the vacation we needed so badly.
