Great place!

5 of 5
Even went sledding! We are a couple that normally travels and stays above the notch in the summer and fall for hiking. Love to stay in owner rented homes. We can not be cooped up in a hotel room. This is a great place and well worth booking. For additional information we had the Hospitality link as well as the information kit the owner provided. Any questions like the TV remote after I dropped it, the owner was very easy to reach on the phone, email and iMesage. We were greeted by a pensioner that provided a set of keys and explained the set up, the weather forecast and told us to contact the owner for any reason including additional questions. Let me say this: Place was well cleaned, beds were very comfortable and the view was perfection. Furnishings were newer than my own vacation place on the shore. New TVs, WiFi, and Parabola programming from DishTV and even a brand new Cuisinart Coffee maker. We ended us using the smaller Mr. Coffee. I noticed the cleaning person put away the appliances in the cabinets to open up the kitchen counters. Couches were very comfortable and the owner had changed the covers to a tan set. There was a loft! It was not accessible but I managed a peek. Also noticed a white set of couch covers downstairs in the main closet. In the linen closet there were plenty of bathroom towels, sponges and other cleaning equipment. Even extra rolls of toilet paper and paper towels were there. Place was warm and toasty despite the -20F temperature outside. Very nice sitting by the big windows enjoying the views. No problems getting into the house. Plow person sanded the driveway and there was extra sand in the orange bucket at the driveway. Plow person actually calls the house to let us know he is there to take care of the driveway. We had a wonderful stay with our loved golden retriever. Will both be back this Summer or Fall to see the changes in the seasons.

Outstanding stay at Bear Crossing

5 of 5
The property is very nice and cozy. There are three bedrooms and two very nice bathrooms including one large bathtub. There are two living areas, both furnished with comfortable couches. The fireplace is very nice, and the TV/Netflix setup as well as wifi worked well and were easy to use. The kitchen is great too! Overall, it was a really lovely stay. Our only small disappointment was the beds which were completely functional but not the very most comfortable, but perhaps this is something the owners will improve. I highly recommend Bear Crossing for your next stay in Bethlehem, NH.

An Exquisite Vacation Getaway!

5 of 5
My husband and I stayed here for several days; could have lingered much longer had time allowed. The house is cozy, and in a beautiful setting along a quiet country road. We especially loved the romantic bedroom, and the view to the west from the porch. This would be a wonderful place for an entire family, very roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the house was immaculate. The newly renovated bathrooms are nicely designed, and the dining room elegant. My husband and I sat on far opposite sides of the table for our first dinner in a whimsical attempt at feeling aristocratic. Guido was an incredible host, very attentive to our questions and flexible with dates. We highly recommend this home, and thank Guido for sharing it.
