What a great place to stay!

5 of 5
Perfect home away from home – every detail is carefully thought out to make your stay as pleasant and perfect as possible and make sure you have everything you could possibly need or want. We were traveling with small children and there were safety locks and outlet covers left out in case we were so inclined. Everything was labeled perfectly to let you know how to work things within the home. Tons of space – plenty for a family to spread out in! Marilyn couldn't have been more easy to deal with – she had suggestions for restaurants, helped with directions, was very flexible with check in/out. If you're looking for a place to stay in the area I highly suggest staying at Marilyn's adorable bear crossing. We will definitely be back:)

An Exquisite Vacation Getaway!

5 of 5
My husband and I stayed here for several days; could have lingered much longer had time allowed. The house is cozy, and in a beautiful setting along a quiet country road. We especially loved the romantic bedroom, and the view to the west from the porch. This would be a wonderful place for an entire family, very roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the house was immaculate. The newly renovated bathrooms are nicely designed, and the dining room elegant. My husband and I sat on far opposite sides of the table for our first dinner in a whimsical attempt at feeling aristocratic. Guido was an incredible host, very attentive to our questions and flexible with dates. We highly recommend this home, and thank Guido for sharing it.

Great home for family getaway!

5 of 5
We stayed at this beautiful new home for a week in August 2014 and had one of the most memorable vacations ever. We stayed with one other family, so 4 adults and 6 kids ranging from 1 1/2 to 7 years old. The 5-7 year olds loved the loft - there are four twin beds up there...kinda their own cool space. The kitchen and living area were just perfect for us. Nice, open and roomy with plenty of space for kids to spread out. Some nights we made s'mores out at the fire pit! The kids also loved playing fuseball in the basement. The owner, Susan Motha was so helpful from the time we booked to the time we left, she was always available to answer questions or give helpful ideas of where to go nearby. We had a blast at Santa's Village, Clarks Trading Post and the Polar Caves. We even drove up Mount Washington...yikes! I definately recommend this home. It was all we had hoped it would be. Thanks Sue! -VKnorr
