A Dream Come True

5 of 5
For years we have wanted to stay in a log cabin, and we are so happy we decided to stay at the River Ridge cabin. The cabin and property are gorgeous; the profile pictures do not do them justice. Inside, the cabin is beautiful, immaculate, and fully equipped with a modern kitchen, TV, WiFi, etc. Sitting on the porch, sipping on a drink, looking out into the forest, listening to the river below-it was like a fairy tale. The location is great to see foliage in the White Mountains and many other activities are nearby; we went hiking in Franconia Notch State Park, biking, and apple/berry picking. Driving through the local small towns with their covered bridges, general stores, and farmhouses was a pleasure onto itself. All in all we had a great time and would definitely recommend the cabin-especially if you want the "real" log cabin experience without having to give up the modern conveniences of home.

gorgeous and relaxing cabin in a perfect location

I can't begin to tell you how much fun we had, and how beautiful your cabin is. The pictures didn't do it justice. We had a BLAST! We lucked out with the weather, warm and sunny most of the weekend. Before we left we were talking about making it a tradition. Life passes by too quickly and it's good to have traditions among friends. We hiked along the river, and drove up to Canon Mountain and hiked Artist's Bluff. Being such an outdoorsman it was very relaxing to sit back and appreciate the gorgeous view and crisp mountain air. The top of the mountain actually smelled like Christmas trees...very cool. It's God's Country, as I referred it.
