Still the best place

5 of 5
Went up two years after my last trip, and it was as nice as I remembered, if not nicer. The house really is in wonderful shape and is so close to the river. Late night smores by the fire after a relaxing day of sitting in the river, it doesn't get much better! Close enough to town that you can get everything you need, really just the perfect place. Cannot wait to go back!

Perfect for a small fanily

4 of 5
We stayed her over MA February vacation. It was great. Very close to Attitash and about a 20-25 minute drive to Bretton Woods. It has a open layout. My husband loved the wood stove. We never needed to turn the heat on. There is a nice sun room off the living room. My kids loved having this area to play in. The basement isn't finished but it does have an air hockey table which my family enjoyed. The only down side is that the beds are not very comfortable but we have rented a lot of houses and they rarely are. Also, there is no tub so if you have small children they have to take a shower.

Beautiful, relaxing home

5 of 5
Our family (my brother, his wife, my mom, husband, and our three boys, 8, 5, 3) stayed here for 5 nights. What a beautiful, nicely decorated, comfortable home. The boys loved playing in the loft area with games and toys. The kitchen and table were wonderful for cooking and gathering around. The fireplace provided a wonderful warmth and atmosphere. The beds were awesome. We had relaxing mornings, then went out to explore and play in the snow for several hours each day and then returned to watch movies by the fire and prep dinner together. Idyllic. We even loved the 12 inches of fresh snow we watched fall one night. Convenient to grocery shopping and the hardware store, and we loved skating, a sleigh ride and making s'mores around an open fire at Nestlenook Farm, which was only about 10 minutes away. Couldn't have been more perfect for us and I hope we get to go back!
