Best Place Ever for a Family Reunion

5 of 5
Our extended family has been holding family reunions every two years for the last 20 years. This house was, by far, the best place we've found for our 20 family members. In years past, we've had to divide our group into 2 or 3 houses. This has enough room for everyone. The location is excellent near the southeast shore of Tahoe. You are close to Zephyr Cove, several beaches, horseback riding, paddlewheel boat trips out of Zephyr Cove and South Shore casinos. You are also close to Heavenly Valley and can see the resort from the large deck that wraps around the house. The house has 8 bedrooms so it was perfect for us. There is a large master suite with a deck as well as a nice bedroom with a private deck on the main level with a king sized bed. Some rooms have more than one bed and there is also a bed in the loft area so we had plenty of room and plenty of flexibility when it came to sleeping accommodations. With the bedrooms on several levels, it affords a lot of privacy as well. The main level has a large dining table, large fireplace and flat screen t.v. as well as plenty of comfortable sofas to lounge on and interact with family and friends. On the huge deck, there's a big hot tub, outdoor dining tables and a propane bbq with extra propane. The kitchen has everything you need in the way of pots and pans, plates and serving dishes as well as the usual coffee makers and other small appliances. There is an extra freezer and another frig in the garage. The small kids in our group spent a lot of time with their parents at the indoor pool and the older kids and adults enjoyed the pool table and foosball table. There are hiking trails around the house which were great. All in all, there is something for everyone. All of our family agreed it was the best reunion ever and I think that was because we were all in the same house and it had a great location. Mark, the property manager, was great to work with as well.

Our Moose trip!

5 of 5
My family of three stayed here last week and were quite pleased with the cabin and the village it is located in. It is right off the highway with a great pool/jacuzzi/sauna all nestled amongst majestic pines. The cabin is charming - decorated as you would expect a lake in the woods/ski lodge cabin to look. The home was immaculate, kitchen amenities plentiful, toilet paper, laundry soap, hand and body soaps, hair dryer and dish liquids all very appreciated and an added bonus to renting this lovely cabin. I found Nancy to be exceptional as an owner as she returned all e-mails promptly, reachable by phone, honest and very friendly as well. None of us wanted to leave, we truly felt at home here and we would definitely return! Thank you so very much nancy for the generosity of sharing your cabin with us....

Cosy and relaxing

4 of 5
Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was clean. The property manager was adequately helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check in was very easy, and the condo was very welcoming upon entry. It was nice and quiet and very relaxing watching the sun set over Lake Tahoe. We were able to watch the fire works on the fourth of July and then relax in the hot tub. The kitchen and living room were very clean and comfortable. I do wish however, the bed rooms and bathroom were cleaner. The first room had a jetted tub that was broken and really filthy and the second room still had cobwebs in the corner over the bed room door. The carpets and sheets we're clean and we could tell the room had been recently vacuumed. We tried to use the BBQ but the propane tank was empty upon check in. We contacted World class property to let them know but we never received a response. Pros: close to the lake, perfect view, easy to locate, hot tub, Cons: limited parking, dirty tub, cobwebs, no propane for BBQ grill
