I hosted a corporate retreat at this home, and it was perfect with one exception (see below). Karen was easy to reach via text at any time which was great. The home is removed from the road - you park your car and walk down a flight of stairs to reach the front of the house, which is built into the hillside. This affords a lot of privacy, which is nice because the rest of the houses in the neighborhood are practically built on top of each other so I'm sure they get great views of their neighbors' interiors! We loved that it had a large breakfast table, a dining table for 10, and a living room that can be closed off from the dining room. This was a great set up for a work retreat. The deck(s) were also huge and had great views.
The location is also fantastic. Close to the beach, Heavenly, and Safeway.
The only thing lacking was reliable WiFi. The router isn't set up to handle more than ~4 connections at once, which should be fixed since the house can sleep a ton of people (though we only had 9). We ended up buying a better internet router at Radio Shack and replacing the one at the house for the duration of our stay. I recommend doing the same if you are traveling with a large party that intends to use the WiFi.
