GREAT EXPERIENCE!

5 of 5
This was our 3rd visit to Amsterdam and first staying on a houseboat! What fun! The houseboat has been completely renovated, and it's beautiful. And huge! The pictures don't lie! Two bedrooms (with VERY comfortable beds on the lower level) with a BIG bathroom. Upstairs, the kitchen was large and well equipped for cooking. Two great couches for relaxing at the end of the day (not to mention watching World Cup on the big screen TV). Highly recommend renting bikes to make the trek to/from city center less time consuming. The ferries were never an issue ... one was always at the dock when we arrived. The damage deposit was also a non-issue; returned via PayPal in a couple of days. Very nice place. Highly recommend.

PERFECT WAY TO ENJOY AMSTERDAM

5 of 5
We enjoyed our stay on the house boat immensely, It was the perfect place to stay whilst in Amsterdam. The house boat is located close to the center of town (10 min walk), AH Supermarket (2 min walk), Cafes and Restaurants (30 second walk across the road). Even though it was close to all these places it was peaceful, quiet and the perfect place to come home to and relax after a big day of exploring. We loved waking up every morning with our coffee to the beautiful view of the canal, waving to the people in their boats and feeding the ducks from the balcony. We were fortunate enough to meet Meredith (the owner) who was absolutely lovely. Meredith left a 'welcome' book with information about the area and transport that came in very handy (We saved 20 euro on a taxi to the airport using the suggestion from the welcome book) along with instructions on how to operate everything contained with in the houseboat. The houseboat was spotless upon arrival and maintained by Sander who was a pleasure to deal with. Sander made sure everything ran smoothly and there were no issues. We would love to stay on the boat again if we ever return to Amsterdam and would recommend it to anyone. We loved it so much that we almost shed a tear when the time came to leave as it had truly become our home during our stay. Dave and Teesh (Australia)

LUXURY, CHARM & LOCATION!

5 of 5
We felt very fortunate to be able to stay in this lovely houseboat. My kids(2 teens) knew we were staying on a houseboat but were expecting something a bit more rustic-boy were they pleasantly surprised. This is more like a floating apartment! High ceilings, lots of light, nice kitchen, room for all of us. Of course our favorite spot was the topside dining table and being able to eat on deck and watch all the action on the canals. We all want to come back next summer!!
