              Great place!

              5 of 5
What a wonderful place with a wonderful hostess! This was the ideal place for us - close enough to Amsterdam with a quick 10 minute drive to the Gaasperplas Metro station (free parking!) yet worlds away from the big city. The metro ride was about 25 minutes. A beautiful home with a beautiful garden with plenty of room for our family of four. We would love to stay here again!

              We lived like locals. Lovely!

Now we have a home-from-home in Jordaan, our favourite area of Amsterdam. Spacious, cosy, furnished with agreeable simplicity yet every convenience. Original artwork on the walls, large light-filled rooms, natural wood floors. Quiet house on a residential street yet with cafes, bars, galleries, markets and canals all around. Highlights for us were: talking with very friendly locals, browsing local markets and galleries, many hours drifting through Amsterdam on canal boats, and Rembrandt's house which is fascinating, atmospheric and moving (you can also make your own print there.) We travelled everywhere easily on foot and by canal bus.
