Historic building, great view, friendly hosts :)

5 of 5
This was our second visit but first rental experience in Amsterdam, we enjoyed every part of our staying. The house is in a classic Amsterdam building, very very close to the Centraal Station, on one of the most famous canals of Amsterdam. The interesting history of the building surrounds you, but by the way it is very modern and friendly furnished so you feel yourself comfortable in that really well-designed loft.. Marcus and Monique are so friendly and helpful, we just met Marc and we are very glad to meet our hosts. The house was clean, and you have all you can need in the house. The Nespresso is working very well, in the morning the house fulls with fresh coffee aroma. You can do your shopping from the nearest Albert Heijn supermarket (5 min walk far) and have great breakfast at home. You have all you need in the kitchen. The water heating system also works well.. There's a second bedroom (with black windowblindsthat you may use) at the back side of the flat and it is very quiet to have rest. The big window in the living room-viewing the canal was very relaxing, in the early morning time, the bike-traffic we saw surprised us, it was very fast and well-organised. While watching you feel like you live the Dutch daily routine in that flat. There's a bike rental shop just near the building, the guy seems busy but they may help about the prices.. There's a guide also that Marc-Monique leaves you at home, explains all the details about living in the property, and you can learn some clues about Amsterdam, about where to eat and the nearest places which are must see classified. We were very late to decide about the accommodation but Marcus was very clear and well-organised host and so we had no problem about reservation, check-in and check-out process. Our plane was late in the night and we had late check out chance, thanks for that again, as the place is so close to the station, we didn't carry any luggage, this was also nice :) My friends are planning a weekend tour, we strongly recommend them that flat. If you want to have a real-historic, comfortable and classic canal-viewed staying experience, inquire now, I'm sure that our nice hosts will answer all about your staying.

Perfect

5 of 5
This home was just the place for our week stay in Amsterdam. It's located with in easy driving distance from the airport. We had rented a car and the parking is a huge plus in Amsterdam. The tram is located just a minute walk away and then a few minute ride into the city. Quite neighborhood made for great sleeping. The grocery store within walking distance is another big plus. The owner responded to our emails super fast. Next time we visit this great city we will stay in the same cozy place.

Comfortable and clean place to stay - good location

5 of 5
My husband and I stayed here at the end of our Europe trip. We were tired of eating out before we got to Amsterdam so we wanted to stay at a place with a kitchen. If you are looking to save money on your Europe vacation, this is the way to go! Ruth and Kingi were awesome to deal with! Kingi was there when we arrived to give us the keys. The place was clean and I felt as though it was in a safe and convenient area of town. The loft was within walking distance to a grocery store, wine store, and very close to tram #1 (tram #1 can get you to and from Central Station from the loft). We used the tram quite a bit as the central part of the city was about a 20 min - 30 min walk away. There is also a car rental agency across the street if you are thinking of renting a car for the day. We liked the location of the loft as it wasn't in the busiest part of Amsterdam - so it felt quieter and safe. The only thing with this place (as I think with many places in Amsterdam) is there is no elevator - so you have to be ok with packing your luggage up 4 flights of stairs. We didn't mind the exercise! Also, it's a good opportunity to do laundry here. The loft has a washer and dryer and drying racks for those items you don't want to put in the dryer! Overall, great place to stay!
