I will start by saying that this place offers WAY more than is listed. This cabin is absolutely beautiful! It was very clean and well maintained. It looks like something from a magazine. The owner was super friendly from the first time I contacted her and was very helpful with questions we had once we arrived at the property. If you want seclusion this is the place for you. You would never know you were so close to West Yellowstone. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace, and when the early summer weather felt a little more like winter for a southerner, we enjoyed a roaring fire inside. We canoed on the lake and watched tons of birds. We even saw a Mamma moose and her two babies that frequented the property. The lake is very quiet and you can't see neighbors unless you take a hike through the woods, and they are still pretty far away. And the view from the living room out of the window is something you won't get tired of. A lake and the mountains! We spent some time in Yellowstone hiking, but found that hanging at the house very relaxing. We also drove to the Grand Tetons, which I highly recommend. My husband and I both run, and this was such a beautiful place to run. The driveway is a half a mile long and the surrounding area is very secluded with very little traffic. The kitchen was stocked with spices and condiments so there is no need to purchase that at the grocery. The kitchen provided everything you would need to cook. There are a ton of games to play with the family and my boys loved exploring the surrounding woods. I highly recommend this cabin. It would be nearly impossible to leave this place and not feel relaxed.

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights starting June 16, 2014. I must admit, when we first pulled up to the cabin I wasn't too sure what we would find inside. It is right on the street with a very small yard. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised. I am a stickler for cleanliness and this property exceeded my expectations. Jason did an exceptional job on the remodel and keeps it pristine. The king bed upstairs is very comfortable. However, if you have problems with stairs don't count on sleeping upstairs. They are the older type and steep. The upstairs also contains two twin beds. The bathroom is downstairs with a shower and a large jetted tub. Also, very nicely remodeled. An extra 1/2 bath would have been nice but we made do. Jason was extremely friendly and easy to get along with. I would stay at this property again. My initial comments about the property itself and being close to the road never did cause us any problems (noise, etc) but, if you are looking for a larger piece of property in the middle of nowhere this may not be for you. Then again, I'm not sure you would find that anywhere in W. Yellowstone.

We just got home from Montana. We stayed in the cabin for 7 nights - it was perfect. Yeah, we drove a lot, but found anywhere you stay you will drive if you want to see everything. It is beautiful, with great views of the mountains. We have two teenage girls and they loved it too. We were approx 30 minutes from Yellowstone, which was good for us. When we left the park this was the perfect place to return too. No tourists, and very quiet. We felt it was perfect and we loved the area. We would highly recommend this.
