WONDERFUL PROPERTY - VERY WELL APPOINTED

5 of 5
Fred's property lived-up to expectations. We had a relatively large family reunion where we needed 5 bedrooms and at least 3 bathrooms. This 5bd/4ba property fit the bill. It is a new property so very nice open-plan gathering areas but plenty of privacy when folks need to retreat for a few hours. We particularly loved the wrap-around deck and spent most evenings there. We had one glitch with the internet one day (a provider issue not Fred's fault) but Fred was very responsive and even upgraded to a business account so that the ISP has to respond and resolve within 24 hours - which they did. I had been slightly concerned that it was a few miles outside of Kalispell and Whitefish but it was a non-issue. 15 minutes to downtown Kalispell and less than 10 to Whitefish. I would highly recommend to large group and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!

5 of 5
This house is absolutely everything described and more! We have used VRBO for years, and Debbie has been the best owner we have worked with by far. She was easily accessible by phone and email; she was patient to answer all my questions; she went to the extreme by giving me maps and details of interests for the surrounding areas. The house was very clean and full of supplies. I especially enjoyed the coffee every morning looking at Emigrant Peak. We enjoyed staying away from the commercial aspect of YNP and experiencing Montana life. The drive to YNP was easy, and the house was a great place to wind down after sight seeing all day. The mountain air was incredible! We really enjoyed having the windows open and the breeze coming through the house. We had two teens, my father-in-law, and my husband and me--plenty of room for all of us to have our own space and beds. We packed lunches and snacks in Debbie's cooler to take with us each day. The kitchen has everything you need! We enjoyed eating in Gardiner and Pray. We booked a guide in Emigrant for a fly fishing trip--several species of fish were caught; took a raft trip down the Yellowstone; spent a day in Cody, WY; toured the park for three full days-one day with a Wolf Tracker Guide; and visited the Prairie Dog Town and Fish Hatchery in Big Timber. The landscape is breathtaking! The house made our trip all the more enjoyable!

EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE!

5 of 5
We've rented many properties from VRBO but this is our favorite by far. Patti and Robin's piece of paradise was just what we were looking for in a 50th birthday destination. The pictures and descriptions were spot on. It was the most complete kitchen I've used in a rental property. The house was very, very CLEAN and easy to keep clean during our week stay. We were a group of 7 adults and two teenage children and had plenty of room to socialize as a group or to sneak away to a quiet area for some time alone. The house is huge! We mostly stayed on the deck and gazed open-mouthed at the view. Funniest moment- when two guys in our group were fishing off the dock and the local osprey dropped down 15 feet away and pulled out a fish much bigger than the ones they were catching! We grilled, we baked, we built a fire in the pit and roasted marshmallows. We drove up to Glacier to explore both the southern entrance and east side, ("Going-to-the-Sun road was still closed due to snow). We went bicycling, horseback riding, hiking, kayaking, white water rafting (Class V!!!) and had massages at the house. We charted a boat for half day of fishing but no luck. It was still beautiful to be out on the water. The owners were more than helpful in all their recommendations. The water was a bit chilly because it was still June but a soak in the hot tub after a swim was divine. If you go, and surely you must...read Robin's books and watch the movie about Patti and him. They will inspire you to continue to explore, laugh and love. We'll be back!
