From Linda Raulston:
Larry and I have been lucky enough to have been guests at the Oneill Guest house for 15 years. The fact that we have made it our August getaway for all these years says it all. Carolyn and Terry always make us feel most welcome. They provide a wonderful and comfortable place for us to completely relax. It's like going home. As we arrive at the guesthouse nestled behind tall evergreens its charm greets us with colorful baskets of flowers hanging across the it's front. The house's amenities take care of all of our needs. We spend lots of time on the deck which overlooks the Gallatin River. The scenery is extraordinary with towering evergeens overhanging the river, and the bird life is unbelievable, and the soothing sound of the river is so hypnotic that it is hard to stay awake. Up and down the river people flyfish, and all we have to do is walk off the deck into our own private flyfishing haven. Nearby is the hot tub where we usually relax before bedtime and watching the sky ablaze with stars. The large grill has become a popular place for the guys to congregate as each offers suggestions on when the meat should be turned. The kitchen is fully stocked with all one needs to persue the art of cooking. The dining table where we have spent so many happy hours sharing delicious meals and lots of tall tales accomodates ten.
The beds are very comfortable and well-dressed. Carolyn and Terry attend to everything one might need. They go so far as to spend nights in the guest house to check out everything one might need from a guests perspective.
They can recommend what sights around the area are a must to see.
You won't believe how wonderful your trip will be. The Oneills are the best hosts we've ever encountered. You will fall in love with them. They are family.
