We had a great time! We felt right at home at this condo, equipped with everything you need! The location is perfect, close to the village, with ski lifts, alpine slides and at least one restaurant/bar. From Base Camp, there's activities for everyone, including bike rentals and zip lining tours. And so close to the slopes, this has to be a perfect location during ski season!
The unit itself is clustered with a few other units, but feels like a separate house when inside. The hot tub has a great view of the slopes. All of the bedrooms are comfortable, and have their own bathroom. The media room is a great place for the kids to set up camp (it even has heated floors:)
The master bedroom and bath are very nice, the bed was very comfortable (there is a balconette that overlooks the living room that gives a spacious feel, but doesn't allow for a ton of privacy. Heavy drapes help, though, and this wasn't really an issue.)
Oh, and don't let anyone tell you that taking the chairlift to the top of Big Mountain and hiking down the Danny On trail is 'leisurely'.... It's almost 4 miles. Do what the locals do... Hike up until you see huckleberries everywhere, then turn around and hike back down. Lesson learned!
We had so much fun in Whitefish, Glacier, and surrounding areas! The coffee is the best I've every had (try the little roadside stands). We used Yelp! a lot and we're not disappointed by any of the top rated restaurants (Loula's, Piggyback BBQ, The Boat Club, Central Ave Deli, to name a few). And go to Sweet Peaks for ice cream! Ugh, I'm missing my vacation already:(
