Cabin is the perfect Getaway

5 of 5
Nestled in the mountains, this cabin is the perfect getaway from the everyday busy lifestyle we have. You have the mountains surrounding you and the sound of the creek below you. Lots of wildlife around too. Such a beautiful place, peaceful and quiet. Cabin is very clean and has everything you could possibly need. It’s far enough from everything to feel secluded and yet close enough if you need to run to town for something. Chico Hot Springs is basically right around the corner as well. We will defiantly be coming back to this place. Owners were great as well. While here, we also found the perfect little café in Livingston that I would recommend to anyone…….if you want somewhere besides the regular chain restaurants, then go to Pinky’s in Livingston……………Great food. Warm, Cozy, roomy house!

5 of 5
This house is a gem! The layout of the house is great, both bedrooms on one side of the house, and the tv room on the other, which in our case, one is a night owl and the other not so much, so we didn't have to worry about the tv keeping the other awake. The couch is very comfy, beds are comfy and there was lots of extra bedding available if we got cold. Pillows were soft and fluffy. The bathrooms were clean, and they have these great shower heads lots of coverage and strong water pressure. Artwork throughout the house is done by the owner/artist and I wanted to take it all home with me. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, 8 blocks from downtown, and there's a fabulous microbrewery 3 blocks up the street! And, just a short walk from a foot bridge that crosses the creek into a little wooded hiking trail that leads to the dog park and the Yellowstone River with breathtaking views. Worth checking out, even if you don't have a dog!

As perfect as it gets.....

5 of 5
The Lewis 'n Clark Cabin is a simple slice of perfection! On our first day here, we never made it beyond the front porch. For 10 hours we sat and absorbed the gorgeous scenery....listened to the Sand Hill cranes....and "ooh'd" and "aaah'd" over the occasional deer that passed through our yard. It was probably the first time in 20 years that I went a day without checking email (and I lived!) Dr. and Mrs. Vermillion were gracious, welcoming hosts. The cabin was charmingly rustic and very well appointed and the kitchen was better equipped than my own. We loved the Lewis 'n Clark cabin and are so glad we chose it as our Montana home away from home!
