                        PERFECT!!

                        5 of 5
Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was the best property for 2 families, lots of room. We loved the great decks, and I personally enjoyed my morning swim in complete silence, the lake is like glass in the morning. Absolutely a great trip, I am sure we will see you again. Thanks

                        BASE CAMP

                        5 of 5
Spending time on the gulf coast in Florida, heading Northwest to Montana is a great vacation change. If you are not climbing Everest, and you like to golf, hike and fly fish, you need to check out the place we found at Flathead Lake. Last summer we vacationed at Flathead Lake with a group of friends; which was amazing at the “Moose Lodge”, which we abbreviated and called the "ML". When you are their, you will find out why it is called the "Moose Lodge" and the wildlife will also amaze you. The "ML" worked great with our large group; lots of room with a cozy feeling. With our group from different locations, parking was not an issue for our four cars. If you check out other properties, you will understand why the "ML" works for a large group, as other places around the lake had one room and parking two or more cars could be an issue. You have to experience the dock with it large beams; the people who built it knew what they were doing. When you walk on the dock you are officially on Flathead Lake, and you understand what clear lake water is all about. With the sun shinning, you can see your fishing lure at quite a depth. The dock is a gathering place as well, with room for friends boats as well as other people who joined us. At night you can sit back on the dock and watch the stars, with water all around you. "ML" was our “Base Camp” aka "BC" with all of the adventures: Jack Nicklaus designed the championship Eagle Bend Golf Course, which has views of Flathead Lake. The fishing guide from Big Fork Montana knew where to catch the Mackinaw, "Lake Trout", as you will hear the locals call them. Fly fishing and hiking were had at nearby Glacier National Park. Next time we are going to ride motorcycles through the mountain canyons on my way to "ML", and ship the golf clubs. If you want a great place to vacation, at a beautiful place in the world, stay at the "Moose Lodge" you can call it "ML" if you want. No need to climb everest, "Base Camp" is waiting. Carl

GREAT TIME ON FLAT HEAD LAKE

                        5 of 5
We had a great week on Flat head lake. Having never being to the area before we were very pleasantly surprised by the size of the lake and the great weather. We were a group of 2 families totaling 6 and the property was exactly as listed, nice clean home with nice furnishings. Easily sleeping all of us comfortably. The deck was great for morning coffee and late afternoon beverages, the large yard was used to play games and entertain the "kids". The owner was gracious enough to let us use the garage and some of their existing water toys for our own use. If there were a down fall, it would be the lack of a dock to tie your water craft up to, not being water front you need to launch your craft every day and then retrieve it at the end of the day. Not a huge deal breaker but not as convenient as just launching once during the week. If you are looking for a well kept, clean, nicely furnished "home" away from "home" I would highly recommend this property. We found the the owner to be very easy to work with and most helpful in answering any of our questions or concerns. We shall return.....
