Family Christmas vacation at the ranch

5 of 5
Cougar Trail Ranch exceeded our expectations for a family Christmas getaway right from the perfect turkey dinner waiting for us upon arrival to the overall warmth and character of this very spacious, well kept home. Inside we made good use the large kitchen, theater room, workout room and hot tub. the outside is breathtaking with trails for walking or sledding. Arlan was very attentive to our needs and always available if needed. I would highly recommend this property for any family vacation.

Previous Reviews Were Right!

This is a sweet, comfortable little Bunkhouse in a beautiful setting. Our stay was not for recreation, so we had no sporting equipment but the parking and mud room would have accommodated most anything. The place is well-appointed, not lavish. We felt it was centrally located and private but not isolated. With the door to the mud room at the back of the covered parking it’s a perfect place to return to after a strenuous day. Rosauers Market about 20 minutes away had everything to satisfy our finicky tastes. Our only trouble was being so far north and visiting near the Summer Equinox, timing our dinners to sunset, had us eating around 9-10 PM. For us the Bunkhouse was both a great base for our activities and a gracious retreat in the woods
