Beautiful location, pristine cabin, gracious hosts

5 of 5
It was an absolutely wonderful place. And the owners are some of the nicest folks you'll ever meet. We sadly had to cut our visit short due to my husband's reaction to the acres of grass which grew behind the cabin. We've visited this area many times but always later in the year and never had this problem; so think this was an anomaly. We plan to stay here again... but will check with the owners regarding the grass.

New, secluded, well appointed cabin on a creek

5 of 5
The cabin was newly built, well appointed, spacious and well laid out. The property is surrounded by horses and located on a small creek. There is a wrap around porch with the opportunity to sit and enjoy the views from any angle. A short drive into downtown Nye will take you to a quaint small town bar called Carter's cabin. If you continue on highway 419 up past the Stillwater mine you will run into two short hikes (approximately 14 miles from the cabin). One hike is less than a mile and will take you up to Woodbine falls. Well worth the short trip! The other hike is longer and will take you up along the Stillwater canyon to a lake (approximately 5 miles each way). I loved the area and can't wait to go back!

Great home in a great location with a great value.

5 of 5
This home was the perfect place for our large group. It had plenty of room for all of us. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen (and entire house) was stocked with everything we needed. We had such a fun time, and this home completely accommodated us.
