I rented this flat for a week and easily extended an extra day when my flight home was cancelled. The owners Lili and Claus are very pleasant, trust worthy, and easy to communicate by email or phone. Everything in the property was advertised. Safe, clean, and comfortable.
The one bathroom is very American as it has a full shower enclosure. The second shower is only a three side enclosure but still modern. Nice toilets and sinks, etc. The kitchen was awesome. Completely stocked with very nice pots, pans, glasses, cutlery espresso maker, and dishwasher, but no microwave. The view is spectacular especially from the dining table at breakfast time. Nice patio with privacy from trees. The bedroom to the left was very very comfortable. Great mattress and storage. The AC units works well in both bedrooms. Large opening windows in the common areas of the flat allow comfortable breeze. Laundry and dryer worked well. I rented a spot in the garage for an extra fee. It barely fit my Fiat 500, but would hold a 500L. Nothing larger. Do not expect to park on the street, it won't work out. Also, I would not recommend staying here without a car. It is a 35+ minute walk to Port Hercules going down. I never tried walking back but would be an easy hour with steep climb. There is a nice mini-market 50m away across the street: fruits, jams, meats, snacks, beer/wine/drinks, and fresh croissants and bread every morning. Wifi was fast & reliable with a VOIP phone to make free local calls and to USA. This is a great property to base camp and enjoy MC, St Jean, and other areas nearby. I will stay again on my next trip when I come back for business or pleasure if I am staying more than 3 nights.
