Pam sent us everything we needed after we booked - information on boat rentals, parking, how to get in, etc. When we arrived we were so pleased to see that it was everything it looked like in the pictures. The house was meticulously maintained and everything we needed was there from cake pans, bowls, peelers, extra paper towels, trash bags, etc. Tom, the property manager, stopped by to check on us and gave us an extension cord for the baby monitor by the fire pit. The only thing I can think of that we needed and didn't have was information on where and how to recycle plastic, aluminum, and glass - but note that we didn't ask Pam or Tom that while we were there so they may have an answer for that.
We had three families in our group (one with a 6-mo-old, another with a 2-mo-old, 3 and 7 year-olds, and one with a 3 and 6-year old). The four bedrooms with bunk beds and big master bedrooms (with plenty of room for pack n plays) suited everyone perfectly. There was plenty of room for us to all hang out together on the main floor or for the kids to watch a quick movie before bed upstairs.
The overall setup was amazing. When the littlest ones were eating or sleeping, we could still somewhat participate from the sun room that overlooked the dock and all the action. All day we were busy on the paddle boat, the noodles, the swing, and a stand up paddleboard we brought. It is a quieter cove than we've been to before so you can use the SUP without big waves bothering you. The seating area on the dock was just perfect. Then, at night after dinner we would retire to the fire pit on the little beach area. The kids LOVED having smores every night and that was a highlight of the trip. We also were able to sit in the shallow water there with the little ones, which does not seem common for the Ozarks.
The weather was perfect and the house and dock was an ideal setup for our group. Pam and Dick were great to work with; they take great care of their home and share with you. We will likely make this an annual trip!
