Warm, inviting with lots of amenities!

5 of 5
Everything related to listing was accurate and we found the house to be even BETTER than anticipated! It was decorated beautifully, the kitchen is well-stocked (we cooked Thanksgiving dinner there!), the music on Pandora was perfect! The house was easy to maintain even as we had our 2 dogs there. We enjoyed trying out the TempurPedic bed and will soon purchase one ourselves and also liked the Nest thermostat! The yard was perfect for the dogs!!! There are lots of special, unique touches throughout the house. We found the neighbors to be friendly and the location seemed very safe and super convenient for us to spend time with our Airman stationed at Keesler for tech school. There is plenty of shopping nearby, and lots of beachy places to grab a bite. We took full advantage of daily walks on the beach. The homeowner is friendly, prompt, hospitable and super easy to work with - this made the entire experience that much better! We only had one very tiny concern/suggestion....the doggie door, which our dogs loved, is sealed from the outside of the house. This makes it also accessible to potential intruders. We are super aware of this as our home neighborhood had a rash of break-ins in which the burglar used the large pet doors to enter. It's an easy fix, but because of our recent experience, we were a bit uneasy. Don't let this deter you from this GEM of a house at an amazing price!!!

Home away from Home

5 of 5
Though I've never written a review on a vacation rental before, I felt compelled to write when I read Lakotagrl's review of this property. I've stayed in this cottage on two previous occasions and came to the site to book another stay when I found the horrible review. My experience in the cottage could not be more different than the post by Lakotagrl indicates. The house and furnishings are spotless and meticulously maintained. All of the fixtures, refrigerator, stove, and appliances were pristine, which is difficult to find in a vacation rental. While any place can have a critter crawl in from outside, the previous post sounds as if the bugs were at home in the cottage. I can state, unequivocally, that this is not the case. I have recommended this rental to friends and family, which I would not do for a place with a bug problem. To the previous poster, my recommendation is "check your suitcases;" you may be spreading bugs into places that have always been bug free.

The BEST rental owners ever!

5 of 5
My husband and 2 toddlers met my mom, dad, little sister and Grandmother "half-way" between TX and GA. The afordability of the house really helped us go and explore all the neet things, like a gator farm with air boat ride, around Biloxi. The house was perfect for us! The 4 bedrooms were a ggod size and the master had plenty of room so set our Pack-n-play for the year-old. The kitchen had all the basics, inlcuding spong and soap. Just a little warning No dish washer but not a big deal for us. One of the bathrooms had a really cool antique style tub I loved. The towels were big and soft and I just can't say enough about the quality of the house and things in it for a privately owned rental home. The BIGGEST selling point for me was the review I read about the owners and the people that talked about how nice they were did not say enough! The owners were beyond nice and accomidating. We wanted some frest seafood and asked where a good maket was, and she said we could get it from her family. FIRST: They crab boiled blue crab for us, about a dozen, SECOND: We bought frest shirmp for a really good price and THIRD: we made a last minute decision to bring some shirmp home, ordered 10lbs, and they were great about getting it to us. Also the deposite was returned the day we left. I can't say enough about the owners and how great they treated us. I know we got the better deal not only in price but quality when compared to the rental condo's in the area. The house was perfect for us, and even though it might not perfect for anyone, as a renter looking around for a vaction rental; think of the quality service and hospitality of the people you will be working with, you can't find better!
