Cozy house set back in the pine trees

5 of 5
The host Shirley was extremely helpful in our stay. The house was very well maintained and it made the stay much more enjoyable. The house had everything you would need to enjoy a nice night in. The house was in an excellent location set off from any main highway which provided a nice and quiet setting. Stillwater is a short drive away if you wanted to spend an afternoon at the St. Croix winery or the Liftbridge Brewery. We had such a nice time we are considering visiting in the near future! Thank you Shirley for making us feel at home.

Great cabin for all types!

5 of 5
The photos on the Internet do not show how cozy the cabin feels. We felt at home and welcome with our first step into the mud room. My friend and I are in our 60s and were there for retreat from the hectic city life; however, there are so many things available for you: canoe and kayaks, for instance. There was plenty of wood to keep the wood stove going in the living room. The deck feels like it is right on the lake! As we rested in the lounge chairs, we watched downy woodpeckers eat at the bird feeder next to us. We couldn't swim as it was autumn, but the water looked quite inviting. There is also great fishing on this lake. Someone wrote he caught a 50" muskie and 29.5" walleye and threw them back into the water "for next year." The owner is very, very helpful and goes over and above when it comes to providing customer service. Oh, the beds are very comfortable and we both slept like babies. We hope you can reserve time at this cabin - it is very popular, so plan your trip today!
