Clean, nice apartment in great location

5 of 5
Apartment was clean and tidy and very convenient to downtown St. Paul. Tim, the owner, was great. Very helpful and even gave me a ride to the airport. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent location!

5 of 5
Our group of 6 (hubby, myself, 3 young adult kids and a friend) spent 3 nights and absolutely loved our stay! I had my morning coffee out on the rocks above the lake, which was such a treat! Couldn't wait to get up and start each day! The condo had everything we needed, although we didn't do nearly as much cooking as we intended. There are so many wonderful restaurants and fun places to visit! My kids especially loved the rocky beach and having bonfires at night. It was so quiet during our stay...probably only one other unit was occupied and we rarely saw any other people. Be aware that Hwy. 61 is literally right out the door...so there is noise from that, especially with the road construction going on and traffic being shifted over rumble strips that make it sound like ships' horns are being blasted. Hopefully this will be finished soon. We made use of the Gitche Gammi hiking/biking trail daily, which runs parallel to the beach next to Hwy 61. The wildflowers were gorgeous! This condo is really centrally located to so many great destinations...we hiked Oberg and Carlton Peak loops, enjoyed the Lutsen Alpine Slide, spent an afternoon in Grand Marais and hit Split Rock Lighthouse and Gooseberry Falls on our way home through Duluth. The condo itself was very comfortable, but for those with joint problems...lots of stairs! This is a 3 story unit. Bedrooms were exceptional...master suite was both large and cozy. The kids were bummed that they had no internet access though. Overall it was a wonderful, memorable stay and we would definitely consider coming back!

Fantastic 4th of July

5 of 5
This is a fantastic condo, with incredible amenities, property manager and access to the beach. You would be insane to pass over this gem! We arrived Thursday around 8 PM and Ryan, the property manager, met us without issue. A welcome kit was provided during our stay, and the property was exactly as pictured. There was a Keurig, SS appliances, grill, and all the comforts of home at our fingertips. Ryan was available by phone and text throughout the whole trip, so we had peace of mind should anything go wrong. The property is a three minute walk to public beach access. The pool onsite is somewhat small, but was adequate for our party's needs. It's also walking distance to Louie's Backyard, the Padre Brewery, and several other eateries. I would not hesitate to return to this location. -Shaun Our party was comprised of young professionals (28-30 yrs old). All the other condo units were rented to families with small children from what we observed.
