It's All Good!

5 of 5
Found this rental to be just as presented online. The home was extremely clean and spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked with all materials needed to cook a meal. The location was very private, and in a nice, quiet area. The beach was great for our family. We brought our own fishing boats, and used the fish cleaning facilities. Boat house on the beach was nice and clean, with lots of room to store gear plus a fridge. Back deck and fire pit were perfect for a low key gatherings. Big gas grill was used a lot, and a paddle boat for use, which was a nice surprise. Would recommend without hesitation this fine home for a stay at the lake!

Incredible getaway

5 of 5
This cabin is amazing! We had a wonderful stay! My wife and I brought our brood up for a week of bonding and relaxation. It worked out perfectly! The cabin is cozy and yet roomy enough. We had a total of 9 adults, 3 teenage boys and an 8 year old boy. We made full use of all the beds and the couches with no sleeping complaints from anyone. The cabin is well stocked from the dishes to the bath towels. No need to pack too much! The decks and the large outdoor table worked well for large meals together and relaxing. Large pines tower over the deck, covering the terrain as it drops sharply to the unbelievably crystal clear waters of Big Sand. The bottom of the entire lake is clean sand. The area around the dock was perfect for enjoying the water. It is shallow with the bottom gradually tapering out. From 2 1/2' at the end of the dock to about 5' a few hundred feet from shore. After that the lake drops quickly to 65'. I recommend checking Google Earth for a little insight to the lakes erratic under water structure. From a boat or the provided canoe the lake offers some great under water views, almost aquarium like. The canoe was a big hit by all and rarely sat idle. After a day in the water we enjoyed a nice warm fire. The fire pit and surrounding chairs made out of tree limbs gave a great woodsy feel. Of course, we used the firewood, fire starters and s' mores ingredients graciously provided by our hosts. Deer and turkey sightings were a plenty and the local shops and eateries were fun. Overall, I would highly recommend this cabin. Thanks to the Marzolf family for sharing their newly found treasure and hospitality. -The Dailys

Rare Find!!!

5 of 5
This was a one-of-a-kind experience! Beautiful, breezy, shaded 11.5 acre island with hiking paths to explore, all to ourselves! The rental home was beautiful. We walked in and were struck by the darling furnishings. The place was well stocked, immaculate, and had all the modern conveniences we needed. We'll definitely be back! Thanks for a great vacation experience, Cindy!
