Cabin was as expected and clean. Photos give accurate representation. Great resort for families with small children because all amenities are very close in proximity. Beach was nice. Plenty of lake side seating available. Water trampoline was fun but needed more air added towards end of week. Only 3 of 5 cabins were rented when we were there so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Could be pro or con: resort owners do not check in on guests (to ask if need anything) in fact, have other full time employment. Not really Wi-Fi as advertised - it's in the owners cabin and we had poor coverage. The only satellite TV was in the lower level and seating for only 3 people (one chair and futon). The TV in the loft did not have satellite, only DVD player and only place to sit was futon. The only seating in the kitchen area is benches along table and stools - no comfortable seating. The cabin lacks a living room or great space area for a big group to gather as it has capacity for 14. Only one bath towel per 2 people provided and no laundry facilities near. Ran out of toilet paper and paper towels. Gas grill ran out of gas during our first use. Only one communal firepit and not appropriately dug into ground with adequate barrier so, fire could not be left unattended. Wood provided was all rotted and not good for burning. We ran out of wood every night we made a fire. Resort offered smores for guests on Wednesday night however, it was after my kids had bathed, had pj's on and were ready for bed. Nice pontoon however, would NOT rent per hour and was NOT negotiable. "Children's activities" was coloring crayons and paper :(. No place for kids to bike safely on property-don't bring them. Check out was 9:00am which I thought was uncharacteristically early compared to other resorts we have stayed. Neighboring small towns were fun. Visited Itasca State Park. Dorset for dinner. Walker for shopping. Nevis had a fun coffee shop/ice cream shop my kids liked. Local winery Forestedge was beautiful. Would recommend.
