          OMG ....WAY TOO COOL!

OMG this place is amazing! So spacious and clean! We had twenty for a family vacation and the 11 kids thought they had died and gone to heaven! The amenities for kids was unbelievable.....their own bunk room , so tastefully decorated!......the theatre room with popcorn machine....the video arcade room....along with the pool table and foosball table....and to top it off....a large hot tub! Each of the 5 bedrooms were perfect with everything all matching! The yard was huge where we played lots of games and we had fires at the firepit at night We cooked all our meals right there in the large commercial kitchen. We rented the pontoon and found the rope swing which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. It would be hard to top this unbelievable lake place or was it "palace"! Thank you Amy for assisting us with any needs we always you're very easy to work with. We'll definitely rent it again!!!!!!!

We gathered our kids from the East and West hoping for a happy reunion. We were not disappointed. It was as advertised. Amy is great to work with. We enjoyed the proximity to the lake and the boat dock. Our children and grandchildren loved to play on the beach and in the water. It was fun to watch them jump off the dock into the water. We had a campfire one night and roasted marshmallows. That was so relaxing to talk and look over the lake. We would recommend the restaurant at Big Sandy Lake lodge. the food was good with generous portions and service was excellent. Our only regret was we did not bring our bikes. That would have been a fun activity to do as a family. Our kids are already voting on this being our next get together spot. It must have been good if they are willing to drive for 20 hrs one way to get to the cabin. That says a lot. Thanks Amy for a great vacation spot and gathering place! Hope to be back!

My husband and I had a really nice relaxing weekend at the cabin, which is lovely. We enjoyed fires in the firepit outside under the full moon and kayaked the lake to explore. Finished a really good book with the breeze blowing through the cabin with a great thunderstorm moving across the lake and made delicious dinners on the grill. Our dog, Wilson, had the best time of all and is still exhaused from a continual loop of jumping off of the dock to retrieve a toy and swimming back to shore only to do it all over again! I would definately reccomend this cabin to a couple or a small family looking for a get away without the long drive from Minneapolis.
