TRUE JEWEL

5 of 5
Have had the privilege of staying at "The Jem" three times, now. Once with a large group of friends, once with family and once by myself. In all situations the property, cabin and lake proved perfect. The cabin is very accommodating and spacious with an open layout conducive to relaxation and conversation. The surrounds are gorgeous! Forest and wildlife with nice flat spots to set up a tent or two. Great space right by the lake for a large tent. The owners are very pleasant people to work with, answer questions promptly and have offered invaluable info on family activities in the area. My favorite activity at The JEM is an early morning paddle in the bay…with loons calling and wisps of fog rolling over the bow of the canoe. Private, quiet, end of the cul-de-sac - Can't wait to return!

FISHING WEEKEND

4 of 5
The location was ideal and private for us to stay for a long weekend of ice fishing. The cabin is at a pretty location on Jay Gould Lake. Also since the cabin has approximately 2000 square feet there was plenty of room for sleeping, eating, card and game playing and visiting with relatives. There were 10 people in our party and we had plenty of room without stepping on each other. The kitchen is well supplied with dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils, so you can cook your meals. The cabin is outfitted with everything you need for an enjoyable weekend or a weeks vacation. We love the Grand Rapids area because of all the lakes and activities available. There is also a number of golf course in the area that we play in the summer time. We will stay here again in the future if available and recommend this cabin for family or friend getaways.
