Wonderful condo; bedrooms down a flight of stairs

5 of 5
This is a beautiful new condo right downtown. We loved the decor, well equipped kitchen and bathrooms, comfy furnishings and the owners were responsive to phone calls (the elevator was tricky). Since it was winter we couldn't enjoy the roof top area but I'm sure it would be fun to watch the boats in the harbor from up there. A few things to note that may not be of importance to you: * Even though we were on the 3rd floor there was quite a bit of noise from the live band in the bar * I hadn't noted that both bedrooms and the bunks were downstairs (we had a knee impaired person who found that difficult) * It was late November when we there and we had to turn the heat way up to get the downstairs warm... not an issue in the summer! Overall we had a great stay, loved the amenities and the location is unbeatable. Our favorite things (in winter): Lunch or dinner at the Hearthstone (near Muskegon), Tacos and Huevos at Sam's Tacos (near Culvers), bringing home fresh roasted peanuts from Fortino's, shopping at Talaquepaqi and Stefanos and, of course, a walk along the boardwalk and the pier.

Beautiful views, center of everything!

5 of 5
The condo was spacious, updated and had plenty of room for a group/family. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you'd need to cook and feel at home while doing it. Our favorite was definitely the beautiful sunset views from the balcony (or living room) and being close walking distance to everything. The beach, marina, bars, restaurants, grocery store & really the entire downtown is are all extremely close without feeling on top of it all. Did I mention there's a pool, hot tub & private parking? This place really has something for everyone. It's probably the most family friendly rental we've ever stayed in and we've Air B n B'd cross county. Highly recommended.

Charming and comfortable cottages

5 of 5
Our extended family of 10 had a great time staying at both Plum Hollow and Peddler's Paradise cottages. We easily split our group between the two cottages so we all had comfortable places to sleep and spots to go for "alone" time, awhile always being able to be together, too. The grandkids loved being together in the big living room to play or to watch the TV. We all took the short walk to Pere Marquette or put 'the beach chairs and toys and towels into the car for the 2 minute drive to the beach near the channel. We had lovely days on the beach where the kids played in the water or built sand castles in the sand. Lake Michigan is always beautiful. The cottages were cozy, comfortable and well stocked. We used the out door gas grill for evening cookouts and the inside stoves for making pancakes in the morning. It was great to have enough bathrooms, showers for the gang of us. With kids, it was good that the street was quiet and there was a big yard for the kids to run and play in. We all loved having the 15 wild turkeys visit us everyday! Thanks Stan & Annie for making these lovely cottages available. M Ross
