Home away from home :))

5 of 5
We stayed here for three nights in February - for our ski trip to Ski Brule. We were two couples, two teenagers, one old lady and an Airedale terrier. And we all had great beds (the dog's bed we actually brought with us :))), nice bathrooms and kitchen with all the utensils to cook our meals. The house is beautiful and very well maintained. It is very spacious, and has everything you can possibly need. It is dog friendly, which was the main reason we picked up this property. But after we stayed there, we would have picked it up for many other reasons. It is actually not very close to Ski Brule, and if you are staying there in the winter - better have 4WD car: our friend's decided to stop right before the little hill in the woods - just after we all pulled out of the driveway. And the car was not able to climb the hill, we had to push it. Also this winter there was pretty much snow there. Though the drive way and the "local" road were pretty well plowed, - it is narrow, and it is in the woods. So try to stay on the road :))) We enjoyed our vacations a lot! Thank you to the owners for letting us stay in their home :)))

Nordic Haus

4 of 5
We had a great weekend! The home is so close to Ski Brule which is great! We brought up our snowmobile and the trails were easily accessible as well. We loved having plenty of room for our group to all stay in one home. We loved having a hot tub for relaxation after skiing all day. The home does need some updates, especially in the kitchen and bathroom. A dishwasher would be a bonus! ;) The shower does not have a lot of water pressure and the toilet clogged up easily. Some of the mattresses were newer in two of the bedrooms, but some were not comfortable at all. We have been staying in this home for many many years. But I think next year we may seek other options unless updates are done.

Excellent stay in an excellent location!

4 of 5
This great cabin provided an excellent place to stay during our whirlwind tour of the UP. We had no issues at all, other than we realized that the fishing rods in the basement were inoperable. We had forgotten ours at home. Very minor issue as we still were able to get the boat in the water and row row row the boat, gently across the lake. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to tour the UP or simply get away from the hustle and bustle of the life as a "Troll" under the bridge. :)
