A home away from home

5 of 5
The house is a perfect home away from home when you don't have a Northern Michigan home of your own. The house is very clean and well-kept, stocked with everything you need (plenty of towels, kitchen appliances, etc). The 8 bunk bed room is like a big slumber party! We loved that they had kayaks/paddleboat for us to use all weekend as well as a bonfire pit. Another great feature, it's only about 15 mins away from downtown TC. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect home for our weekend away!!

Great rental

5 of 5
This was my first VRBO experience, and it was an excellent choice. We were in Traverse City from downstate for a wedding. The 4 bedrooms gave us and our 3 grown children (2 have moved from Michigan to other states) the ideal spot to all be under the same roof for a wonderful family weekend. What a better option than 4 separate hotel rooms! The only negative was the surprising absence of a corkscrew in the otherwise very well-equipped kitchen. That was turned into a positive as we all enjoyed watching the clever actions of one of our sons. He put the bottom of the wine bottle into a shoe to cushion it and repeatedly tapped it on the deck rail until the cork worked its way out. I expect the owner will see this review and make sure a corkscrew is there for future guests :-)
