A little slice of paradise

5 of 5
Last summer my husband and two boys rented this quaint little cabin for one last summer getaway before the start of the new school year. The pictures do not do it justice, this little cabin is paradise. There were so many activities available for my boys that my husband and I actually had a bit of alone time for once. :) not only were there canoes and kayaks, but also a full fishing set! We couldn't get kids away from the lake... even for dinner. If I am remembering correctly, we had a fire every night we were there! It really gave us all the opportunity to enjoy ourselves before a hectic school year. We will be back this summer, hopefully more than once!

Beautiful and relaxing getaway!

5 of 5
We stayed here for our honeymoon. It was perfect. All the amenities you could need in this quaint and cozy cabin. Close to unique towns with shops and good food. Not far from Traverse City, which was fun to check out Cherry Festival. Headed to Sleeping Bear Dunes, breath taking! Close to the water, wooded and private...everything you could want for a mini getaway from all that life brings. Hope to return. Barbara is wonderful and beyond accomodating and helpful. Love Molly, too!

Amazing Vacation on Torch Lake

5 of 5
In short, we were blown away with how amazing this rental turned out to be. We stayed in the "Hidden Oak Cabin" but this is only a part of the wonderful atmosphere they have created on their property. The cabin was perfect. Everything we needed was provided for and the cabin itself was clean and cozy. The property and location are absolutely perfect. Just a short walk to the waterfront, but the cabins themselves are located in the woods and have a wonderful "secluded/private" feeling to them. There is a nice deck for grilling and lounging, a hammock in the trees and a perfect setup for having a campfire. We loved our stay. All attractions and amenities are near by, so it really was the perfect spot. We rented a boat and spent a day on Torch Lake (highly recommended), we were only a 20 minute drive from Elk Rapids (beautiful beach and harbor town) and only about 35-45 minutes from Traverse City. We loved everything about our stay, we will definitely be going back, and will most likely be making it an annual trip.
