SPACIOUS AND COMFORTABLE WITH GREAT VIEWS!

5 of 5
Loved this house! It definitely has the comforts of home more than your typical rental property. The open floor plan is great for letting little ones run and crawl around. The downstairs is nice and quiet so everyone truly has their own "space". We stayed in the first floor bedroom with the queen bed and it was quite comfortable. There was also a large closet perfect for stowing luggage. The house is very bright with tons of windows. We loved sitting on the large front deck and watching the water. The kitchen is also very nice with new appliances and well equipped for cooking for a crowd. Will definitely be back!

PEACEFUL AND SERENE

5 of 5
My wife and I stayed here a week to explore and enjoy all the pleasures of the Leelanau. Our first impression was the glorious view of Grand Traverse Bay from the deck and the wrap around windows in the living room. It was very relaxing listening to the small waves breaking on the private sandy beach and lying in the hammock watching the cedar waxwings cavorting in the trees. Everything was as described and the owner was very helpful. If you love great food, you must eat at 9 Bean Rows in Sutton's Bay (we ate there three times and each was a unique experience). Boone's Prime Time Pub is always good as well. We also loved Pearl's (authentic Cajun food) and Short's Brewery in Bellaire (too bad you can't sample all of their great beers). We would recommend this cottage to anyone and hope to visit again next year. Although we do not have small children, the sandy beach and shallow water make ideal for them as well.

QUAINT AND CONVENIENT.

4 of 5
Charming hideaway just off the main street (St Joseph) in Suttons Bay. We could walk to shops, restaurants (Martha's Table was great) and TART trail. It's a short drive to our favorite wineries (Mawby and Boskydel). The beds were comfy, shower head great and we loved the wee deck. The garden next store was lovely. Strong fast wifi for us geeks. Full kitchen to make your own meals. Calmer and quieter than Traverse City but still close to all the Leelanau has to offer.
