Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was perfect for our two families. We had one family with a newborn and the other with three teenagers. One room each for the adults and baby and loft bedroom for the kids. The only bummer for the teenagers was that they could not swim in the water as its really not a beach just rocky area. But the fog on the lake at sunrise was so peaceful. This house was perfectly located to visit fantastic wineries such as Ciccone and Black Star. Downtown Suttons Bay is cute and only a few quick miles north. The cherry trees were also blooming at the end of May - just gorgeous. Would recommend. Manager responded on 6/7/2014: Thank you for the review! Yes, this is definitely more of a view property (not swimming) but hopefully they were able to take advantage of one of the beaches in Suttons Bay. We are glad you enjoyed your stay.

Charming hideaway just off the main street (St Joseph) in Suttons Bay. We could walk to shops, restaurants (Martha's Table was great) and TART trail. It's a short drive to our favorite wineries (Mawby and Boskydel). The beds were comfy, shower head great and we loved the wee deck. The garden next store was lovely. Strong fast wifi for us geeks. Full kitchen to make your own meals. Calmer and quieter than Traverse City but still close to all the Leelanau has to offer.
