Riverwood

This is a very nice rental. The unit is very well furnished, with very high quality appliances and funishings (Pottery barn and Crate and Barrel quality). As my wife noted, the dishwasher is nicer than ours at home. My guess is that the owner must use it personally a lot and has invested extra in the furnishings and appliances for that reason. We had never rented a cottage before, but were very pleased with this unit and would likely rent it again if it is available. Finally, the location is very near the Lake Michigan Road beach. The only disappointment is that there was no cable signal (preventing us from watching some Tiger games while in Michigan), but it does have a netflix account and a stock of DVD's.

A Relaxing Week

5 of 5
The Lemon Drop Cottage was a perfect location for our family's vacation. Our kids loved roaming the yard and were intrigued by the tentworms, skunk, chickens, and other creatures they encountered. The cottage is in a lovely setting that is very peaceful and provides plenty of relaxation! We also enjoyed the nearby sights -- we made trips to the Sleeping Bear Dunes, hiked two trails, enjoyed the Empire Beach, and traveled through the Leelenau Peninsula. Loved the local aspargas and the complimentary Cherry Salsa Atento as well. Thank you for a great week - we hope to see you again!
