A Piece of Paradise!

5 of 5
We have been renting this cottage since 2003. We were delighted to see the new updates and amenities the new owners added. It is truly a special place our family loves. Cottage is clean and comfortable with a million dollar view. Owners are great to work with.

A Peaceful Getaway

5 of 5
My husband spent many summers here in the Stony Lake area as a young man and brought me here to share old memories. Upon entering the cottage I was at once struck by the charming feel and the spectacular view of Lake Michigan. It is hard to describe the captivating sense of this special place. My husband and I enjoyed relaxing on the porch gazing at the lake and imagining the mysteries of the lives of the previous inhabitants. The many windows provide wonderful evening breezes as well as views of the lake, trees and spectacular sunsets. There are all the comforts of a modern home among the surroundings of original furnishings of this historic cottage. It is likely the most scenic, quiet and peaceful spot we have ever stayed. We hated to leave and we look forward to returning for a longer visit next time! We highly recommend Casa Del Camino for a very special and unforgettable relaxing getaway!

The perfect cottage to get away from it all.

5 of 5
This quaint little cottage was perfect for my family get away. Upon arrival there were fresh cut flowers on the table, and a jar of home made raspberry jam. My husband and I shared the bedroom, while the kids slept in the loft (which they enjoyed!). We slept 5 comfortably, but the cottage could accommodate many more comfortably. Everything was clean and tidy, and the amenities were in great shape. (Fridge, microwave, oven, stovetop, washer & dryer.) The view from the deck was spectacular ... we saw lots of wildlife including rabbits and deer. I walked my girls down to the dock where we fished for bluegill and perch. There are a lot of activities just a short drive away (horse back riding, restaurants, and a dairy farm and petting zoo). We mostly enjoyed quiet family time where we stayed up late playing games. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a cozy, quiet get away. We've decided that we are going to try and book the property every year for our family vacation.
