Saugatuck family vacation

4 of 5
Listing is accurate as pictures sent. Cabin is clean and well-maintained. Owner was very nice and helpful. Saugatuck has many things to do and the town is awesome. Recommend the sand dunes ride! Only thing in the cabin is that the beds in the downstairs bedrooms seemed a little small. I think they were doubles not queens. Our family is tall so the beds were uncomfortable because of the size. All in all great vacation and Oval Beach rules!

Favorite place to stay!!

5 of 5
We absolutely loved our stay here!! The chalet is very spacious and completely furnished. Loved everything about this place and also the owner Tom, who is extremely nice and very helpful. You are right next to the water and you're able to take out the pontoon to the downtown area for some sight seeing. Overall this place is one place my family and I will come back to. Tom, thank you everything! :)

Peaceful & comfy get-away!

5 of 5
This cabin has many features to make it a perfect place to get-away from the fast pace, yet still feel quite comfortable. The river quietly whispers all through the day, while you sit near the shore or wade out into it or sit in the swing or relax in the hammock. Choices of sitting near the water or near the cabin for a fire or just relaxing in the screened in porch are all ways to be outside & enjoy the woods around you. We saw less than 10 people while we stayed for the weekend. The kitchen is stocked with staples & every dish you need for a simple meal, whether you could inside or out. There is a grill, which we did not use, but would have been perfect if there was rain. The interior of the cabin is cozy & feels much like the temperature outdoors, so plan on being chilly in the morning & evenings, unless you start up the fireplace. We did not use the fireplace, but it looks incredible. The extra features, such as plenty of reading material & board games means you would have plenty to do, no matter the weather. We thought the TV was nice but would have been ashamed to turn it on! Overall, this a place where you think it might be a little like "roughing" it, but it really is cozy & comfy with full electricity, hot running water & just plain simple relaxing & playing. The surrounding area is great for many activities, but we never wanted to leave the cabin because it was just what we needed -- peace & quiet with all kinds of beauty & exploring!
