really nice

5 of 5
relatively short walk to the beach (no streets to cross) was fabulous. House is very nice, with a great screened porch. My family group had a terrific time there. If you're an extremely serious tennis player, there are some cracks in the court that you might mind. At my level of play they were insignificant.

Perfect for a Small Family Beach Vacation!!

5 of 5
We very much enjoyed our stay at Shorewinds and it is well worth the rental price. In our six years of visiting Union Pier, this was easily the nicest 1 to 2 bedroom house we’ve stayed in. Upon our arrival, we found the cottage to be very clean, beautifully landscaped and well equipped for a beach vacation. It is right near the entry for a public beach access (which has pretty easy access for Union Pier standards), but any concerns about privacy are solved through the landscaping and a decorative fence. Some of the highlights include: the convenience of a second bathroom, washer/dryer and gas grill; a really nice fire pit that is well protected from wind; and extras like nice beach chairs and nice outdoor seating. The kitchen is fairly large and well equipped. We will certainly look to rent this property again.

The Fourth Oak

5 of 5
The charming home at Three Oaks was a great place to celebrate my sixtieth birthday with my wife and our adult children. The home his very nicely decorated and is in close proximity to a distillery, wine tasting, and beer tasting adventures, along with a fine arts theater with-in a city block. We really liked the new features (tasteful colors & new appliances) added to the home as well as the architect’s eye for keeping the older charm of the building intact. The small but interesting community of Three Oaks has a nice mix of eclectic shops and restaurants that are worthy of a visit. There is much to do with-in twenty miles of the community including the beautiful beaches on Lake Michigan, a rolling landscape with a mix of beautiful trees, quaint farms, and local produce for purchase. We enjoyed looking for antiques and unique gifts nearby and we took several day trips to explore the region. Thanks for the experience! Highly recommended!
