We REALLY enjoyed our stay...everything was GREAT!!!

5 of 5
This was our first visit to Grand Haven...having spent many weeks in the Manistee and South Haven areas...and in our opinion, this is the best! We were very pleasantly surprised by this Condo, and would recommend it to anyone. The Condo was decorated very tastefully and provided any amenities one could desire. We were very centrally located, enabling us to walk to just about anything, and we did. The waterfront is so clean...esthetically pleasing and provides a very pleasant walk to the beaches and lighthouses at the pier, as well as an opportunity to check out all of the boats along the way. Every kind of restaurant can be found close by, along with the availability of shopping...just around the corner on Washington Avenue. You can watch the charter fishing boats come in, unload and clean their catch at the Chinook Pier...check out the mammoth 1225 Pere Marquette Steam Locomotive that is on display, shop at the the Farmers Market, tour the Transportation and Historical Museums (very interesting and well done) and then end your evening being entertained on the riverfront with the Musical Fountain show. We would go back to this Condo in a heartbeat! You can tell that the owners, Allan and Christine, take great interest in this venture...with excellent communication through email and phone contact, timely followup and pride of ownership. We REALLY enjoyed our time in Grand Haven and think that you would too!!!

South Haven Serenity

5 of 5
Outstanding views of Lake Michigan. It felt like we were in a penthouse suite in this 3rd floor/top floor corner unit Even when the weather wasn't as nice as we had hoped the relaxation of looking out onto Lake Michigan and listening to the waves calming effects made everyday memorable. I typically have trouble getting/staying asleep at night but the peaceful sound of the waves helped me sleep better than I have in a very long time. The condo was very comfortable and nicely decorated. My temporary office was set up with a laptop computer on the window ledge overlooking Lake Michigan, hows that for telecommuting. We are looking into another visit this fall as we were so impressed. The owner of the unit provided excellent customer service and addressed any questions or concerns we had promptly and with courtesy. I would recommend this condo to anyone except those who have difficulty with stairs. Thank you for the great hospitality, Craig

Out of 5 Stars, I give this property 6.

The owners and managers of this property have raised the bar on hospitality, comfort, quality and aesthetics. My family and I had the great fortune to be among the first visitors of this lovely property nestled right in the heart of Harbor Springs. Everything about our stay was first-class. We were welcomed by a very service-oriented manager who navigated us around the charming space and pointed us to a very generous gift basket with wine and snacks for us and age and gender appropriate items for all three of my kids. Also, if we had literally not packed any toiletries, we would've been more than covered with bathroom cabinets filled with any item we might need. We wanted to take the kitchen with us: Viking appliances, butcher block countertops, beautiful back-splashes and top-of-the-line lighting made us dread going back to our own home. Condiments, coffee, and those food items you don't know that you need until you do were also stocked high in the cupboard. Great space and plenty of unexpected luxuries enabled us to enjoy making many meals at our temporary home. I say "home" because it felt more like a home than a rental property. Everything was well constructed and solid, including the furnishings. The space worked well for my wife and three young children, but mainly because we have a toddler who slept in our bed. Most people would likely max out at 2 adults and 2 children. We were so well taken care of. When I texted the property manager that we were having a problem with the A/C and that my wife had forgotten her hair dryer, the owner of the property showed up an hour later with a dryer in hand and a quick flip of a furnace switch to turn on the A/C. He couldn't have been more nice and thoughtful. We were super easy walking distance to everything Harbor Springs has to offer, including the beach, restaurants, coffee shop and just steps away from Yummies, the alluring ice cream shop. I can't wait to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone who appreciates nice, clean, first-class living!
