Awesome escape! No other place like it !

5 of 5
Just love this little piece of heaven! It is just what is needed after a hectic work place! I guess that is what the doctor ordered so I keep coming back for refills. This coming year will be my fourth trip and it is just like coming home. Charlie is a wonderful host and always make sure everything is perfect even down to the bottle opener! Love the solitude, going for walks with the dogs, and finding a different place for coffee in the morning with gorgeous views everywhere. I look forward to coming back every year !

Wonderful Getaway

5 of 5
This is my favorite vacation spot. The cabin is modern, clean and charming. The property is a beautiful mix of forest, hiking trails and a swimmable (and fishable) pond. The property is so peaceful that you may only hear cows mooing or birds chirping. Wildlife is abundant and it is common to see deer on the property. The owners and property managers are helpful and responsive. I have had the privilege of vacationing here a number of times in the last few years. I am looking forward to my next stay.

Unbelievably Beautiful

4 of 5
This place was just what the doctor ordered. Our family needed a break from the distractions and stresses of every day life, just to enjoy each other and spend time together. I wanted my children to have room to play outdoors and explore nature. This place was perfect. We explored the river and its creatures (the river is shallow enough to play and wade across). We saw at least one bald eagle each day - talk about majestic! At night, after hiking, picnicking and playing we sat around the campfire roasting marshmallows, star gazing (amazing stars, we saw the milky way!) and listening to coyotes and even wolves serenade us. It was magic for us and our children. The cabin was very clean and tidy. The kitchen was well-equipped and I was easily able to cook for my family throughout our stay. While it's not a luxury cabin, it's very comfortable and we had no complaints. We didn't go there for the sheet threadcount or to be pampered. The managers and cleaning lady (who will meet you at the cabin) were wonderful and helpful, pointing out where to spot wildlife, how to use the propane lamps, etc... We went to find some peace and quiet and we found that by the bucketful.
