What a great place to stay

4 of 5
This is the place to stay if your looking for quite, with no neighbors on top on you. Castle in the woods was a very cool place to see, and the Odawa casino was a good choice to spend the one day it did rain. Restaurants of all kinds are a close drive, weather in town or neighboring towns. If you sleep outside in the Queens bed make sure you bring a flash light with you, it gets really dark, and I do mean dark. I highly recommend Maple Ridge Horse riding stable in Vanderbilt just an hour away from the Rest Nest, Penny go's out of her way to make you feel comfortable on your horse and the trails are just breath taking. Best ride I've had in years.

You've found it! You can stop looking now!

This property is superb! Immaculate, well stocked, comfortable, excellent location, great property manager, and did I say IMMACULATE? It's truly IMMACULATE! This vintage Victorian home is so well cared for- just an absolute charmer of an old house. It is located right next to downtown Petoskey so you have the best of both close proximity to all the shops and restaurants plus a residential neighborhood for peace and quiet. It takes about 3 minutes to walk to the downtown shopping/dining district- a quick and easy walk. The house is not right directly across from the breakwall in Petoskey as the headline for the ad states, however, it takes about a minute to walk there and there is a zen view of the water from the front porch of the house. We totally loved being there and didn't want to leave. We spent our nights sitting in the front porch or on the front stoop and green, lush and soft lawn. Plenty to see and do here. Bring your bike to ride the Petoskey Greenway, a good book to read on the beach, or your fishing pole to try and catch that lunker salmon at the falls about 30 seconds from the cottage. You will want to make this home your own for many years to come. We will be back! Thank you, owners, for offering us such a lovely, restful, charming home in which to stay. God Bless!

Best of All Worlds...Pure Michigan style!

5 of 5
This is an absolutely lovely property with an even more gorgeous view right outside the window! We have stayed in this home twice - once in the winter and we just returned from a June visit. Both trips provided a wonderful retreat! Breezy and bright in summer and cozy in the winter. We just can't say enough about it! Some favorite food/drink spots include Petoskey's Chandler's, Palette Bistro, Petoskey Brewing & Beard's! Cormack's Deli is incredible (although closed on weekends). The location of this cottage between Charlevoix and Petoskey make it a perfect spot to stay and it is completely equipped with Wi-Fi, cable, local artwork and beautiful furnishings. Attention to detail shines. Can't wait to stay here again!
