Fall in Leelanau

5 of 5
LPM is a perfect "up north" lake cottage for a fall visit to the Leelanau Peninsula. Having stayed here many times, we continue to be impressed by the beauty of the cottage. Our visit this fall included several rainy days that were well spent enjoying the view of the bay or the cozy gas stove while knitting and reading with a pot of soup simmering away.

Charming cottage in perfect location

5 of 5
My family stayed at the Stone cottage in August of 2013 and it was a perfect stay. The location is secluded and on a private beach - the water was shallow enough for my 4 year old to wade out a significant way (I would recommend bringing water shoes as its a bit rocky). The setting is beautiful. It's also close enough to Northport to enjoy all that town has to offer. I was also fortunate enough to meet some tennis players on the court nearby, and got to play a couple times during the week while my daughter and wife enjoyed the beach. Did book soon enough in 2014, but we'll definately be back in summer of 2015. The bath's and kitchen are new and outstanding.
